My all time favourite foundation.

For a few years now I have been using the Mac Face and Body foundation basically everyday. I absolutely love it!

I understand that not everyone is a fan of this foundation because it is very light coverage and is extremely light weight on the skin but thats what I love about it.

This foundation with my Mac Pro Longwear concelear and a translucent powder gives me the perfect skin for an everyday look. I first discovered this foundation around summer time a few years ago and thought that it was the perfect coverage for hot days and especially when going on holiday. I have never been the girl to wear a lot of makeup anyway so when I found this foundation it was perfect for me. I then continued to use this foundation all year as I love the coverage it gives the skin and also how easy it is to actually build it up to a slightly thicker more medium coverage foundation on the days I don't love my skin.

I usually apply my Mac Face and Body with a makeup sponge as I feel it gives the perfect finish for me. If you are wearing it for a more natural look then you can even use your hands to blend it into the skin. I usually use around 2-3 drops for my whole face. As the foundation is quiet a watery consistency it does cover and spread a long way. If I am going for little more coverage I will do about 2 coats and use maybe 5 drops for my whole face, still not a lot of foundation considering how light weight it comes across.

I also find this foundation lasts a long time on the skin once applied. I have never actually tested if its due to the rest of the makeup I use but I am always happy with what my makeup looks like after a long day at work. If I am going out and I want a slightly thicker foundation with higher coverage I have tried some other foundations such as Urban Decay All Nighter, personally I feel that my skin doesn't react well to thicker foundations and that I actually don't break out as much when I am wearing a lighter foundation. I do occasionally wear a full coverage foundation but feel I am lucky enough with my skin that I don't always have to. I will continue to use this foundation as I absolutely love the way it looks on my skin and other peoples too.
