The most important part about our skin is looking after it. We can put as much makeup on as we like but what’s underneath really does matter too. These are a few of my favourite skin care products that I have been using throughout 2018.

1. Mario badescu drying lotion

I love this product for those moments where your skin just isn’t feeling great. When you have a few blemishes that won’t go away or you can feel a new spot that’s not reach the surface yet. You only have to place a small amount on the area and leave for a few hours, I use a cotton bud to apply mine. It really helps dry out the area and bring out the spot, helping it to clear up quicker.

2. Clinique cleansing balm

I use this product when I want to remove my makeup really well. It makes your face feel clean and fresh. You only need a small amount on the tips of your fingers and gently massage it into your face, you can even remove eye makeup without feeling like your eyes are burning. It melts into the skin just like a balm, then add a little hot water and wipe away with a damp flannel or cloth.

3. Nivea soft

I will never find a better cream for my face than this. I absolutely love this stuff. I use this cream twice a day morning and night and my skin never feels too oily or dry. My skin is quiet combination as I have quiet an oily t zone and dry cheeks, but I find this cream keeps my face nice and moisturised until I apply makeup. I hate moisturiser that leaves the skin feeling sticky when your going to bed but this one sinks nicely into the skin.

4. Clean & clear deep cleansing lotion

I have been using this product now for years and I can honestly say it’s amazing. I use a small amount of it on a cotton pad and use it all over my face. It leaves the skin feeling so clean and helps reduce spots and oils producing on the skin.

5. St. tropez tanning drops

I only started using this product half way through 2018 but I love it. When you want a little colour without using fake tan this product is perfects. I apply a few drops all over my face and blend it out with a fluffy makeup brush to make sure it is an even coverage and my hands don’t get stained. I only do this about once a week or whenever I feel like it has washed off. It is also very moisturising as it is an oil based product although sometimes I do mix it in with my Nivea moisturiser for extra moisture.
