The GHD Glide.

 I finally managed to get my hands on the Glide after it went out of stock so quickly. I’m so happy I got one as it was in very high demand. I have loved using mine so far and really didn’t think I would like it as much as I do. I decided to get it and see how it would save me time and help me style my hair without so much direct heat.

GHD originally designed the Glide to be a second day hair option, to smooth out your hair the next day after styling. As my hair is naturally quiet curly and can be frizzy when the weather isn’t great, I like to blow-dry and straighten my hair when it has been freshly washed and try and leave it every other day before washing again. So I have found the Glide good for the second day and when I am in a little more of a rush and need my hair done a little quicker. 

I have found that when my fringe is slightly shorter the glide brush doesn’t smooth it out as well as my regular straighteners. It needs to be just a little longer to get the right bend on it and glide smoothly through the flat part of the brush. I would love to use the glide everyday but I feel that it wouldn't give me the same results as my straighteners do. I agree that the Glide is best for quickly smoothing out our hair.

I do like the way the Glide brush is so easy to use and brushes through the hair seamlessly without pulling. I also have used the Glide to give a slight bend to the hair through the ends, but have mainly been using it to straighten my hair. I will continue to use the Glide when styling my hair and would like to explore what else I could do with the Glide.
