Christmas is just around the corner and after the year we have had its hopefully going to bring some joy this year. Here are a few Christmas gifts ideas that I feel would be perfect for a big or small gift for someone you love...or maybe even a little gift for yourself.
There are so many amazing gift ideas out there at the moment so I thought I would narrow it down to my top 3!

Starting with "The Ordinary Balance Set". I have always loved the brand The Ordinary and thought this gift set would be a great gift for so many people. You get four full size products for only £23. The products normally retail at: The Squalane Cleanser £5.50, The Salicylic Acid 2% Masque £10.15, The Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% £5.25 and The Natural Moisturising Factor +HA £5.15. They are all great products in one bundle for a really reasonable price. I feel the products are always great value for money but this set seems incredibly cheap.
When doing some research I have seen that The Squalane Cleanser has mixed reviews online. Mainly depending on your skin type, which seems obvious as not everyone is going to enjoy or like using the same products. But many people have said that they love it and it has been great for their skin, even saying it has actually cleared them from unusual breakouts and controlled the level of sebum in the skin. I would say this cleanser would be good for dry and oily- combination skin types as it contains Squalane and Lipohilic which add moisture.
The Salicylic Acid 2% Masque is great for oily and blemish prone skin. It claims to help make the skin appear more radiant and also reduce the appearance of imperfections. It contains charcoal and clay which are a great ingredient in masks, known for reducing the size of pores and blackheads. It is also going to exfoliate the skin removing any dead skin cells that have clogged your pores.
The Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% is a lovely serum that I have actually put on my christmas wish list this year. It sounds amazing. With a high concentration of vitamins and minerals (Vitamin B3) it has been proven to reduce the appearance of blemishes and discolouration. The added Zinc helps with reducing the levels of sebum in the skin making your skin feel fresher after using.
The Natural Moisturising Factor +HA is one of only a few moisturisers that The Ordinary sells. It is an oil free moisturiser but has ingredients such as hyaluronic acid which helps leave the skin plump and moisturised. Great for all skin types.
Overall, I would recommend this set for someone who is recently new to skin care and wants some new products to try, or even someone who already loves the brand and wants to try a few new products.

My next gift idea is for all the makeup lovers. Benefit always do such great gift sets around Christmas time. There are so many to choose from, but I thought this was the best and also great value for money. The BYOB makeup gift set is only £37 for three full size products and one mini. There gift sets are always so nicely packaged making it extra special. Inside you get a full size Hoola Bronzer, usually £27.00, a full size They're real Mascara, usually £22.50, a full size Gimme Brow Gel, usually £22.50 and a mini POREfessional primer. I think this is a nice selection of some of Benefits most popular products making it a great gift for all makeup lovers but especially anyone who loves the four products as its such a great price.

My final gift idea I have chosen is The Body Shops Camomile Set. One of my favourite facial cleansers is The Body Shops Camomile oil cleansing butter. This set comes with a full size cleansing butter as well as a 250ml camomile eye makeup remover and a muslin cloth, all for £18. I have previously done a blog post on the camomile cleansing butter and raved about how much I love it, so this set had to be in my top 3. Its great that it comes with a muslin cloth as its such a handy way to remove your makeup and product that is left on the skin. I have never tried the eye makeup remover before but it seems like a great added bonus to the set. Ideal for those days when your waterproof mascara just doesn't want to budge, or if you have sensitive eyes. I would say this gift would be great for anyone who wears makeup. Or If you are new to wearing makeup and want a super easy way to remove it that is quick and doesn't cause any irritation to the skin, this is perfect.
