This months blog post is all about the Soleil Tan De Chanel cream bronzer!
I had seen so many people talking and raving about this bronzer for years and wanted to try it out for myself. I have been using it now for around 9 months and have really enjoyed using it. It is on the slightly more pricey side definitely, for a cream bronzer, at around £40-£45 depending where you purchase it from. I have found it to be a very versatile product, that can be used for a really natural makeup look or really glam makeup. I have found myself grabbing this product much more than I thought I would and therefore feel it has been well worth the money for me.
Its lovely to apply to the skin, it feels so smooth and doesn't leave the skin feeling heavy or thick. I also found that it is very 'buildable' and can be used for a much stronger contour by building it up a few layers at a time.

I love cream products for slightly more dry skin types. I find that they blend out much nicer and usually last on the skin much longer too. My skin is usually combination, oily t-zone and dry cheeks, making this cream bronzer perfect for me. I would also recommend this product for oily skin types too, but maybe set it after to make sure it doesn't move throughout the day. Overall a good product for all skin types.
Sometimes I will use this cream bronzer when my foundation is a little light for my skin tone. If you blend a small amount of this all over the skin it adds a nice touch of colour while leaving the skin still feeling fresh.
If I want a slightly stronger contour or bronzed cheeks I will use this as a base and then top it with a powdered bronzer. I find this works really well and gives you that little bit more colour but also helps set in the cream products.

Recently Chanel has slightly re branded this cream bronzer and it is now called 'Les Beiges Healthy glow bronzing cream' I am yet to try this but have seen a lot of people online with very mixed reviews. The packaging is the same, which I personally think is very sleek and classy, a lot like other Chanel beauty products. However, many reviews have claimed that they have slightly changed the formula and it isn't as good as the original.
Once I have finished my Soleil Tan I will definitely be repurchasing and will try out the new formula myself.
