I am going to be talking about The Body Shops liquid peel as I love it so much and would recommend it to anyone!

I have been using the skin peel for a few years now and haven't found anything better so have always kept re -purchasing!
I would say that my skin is mainly combination with dry areas on the cheeks and mainly oily around the nose and t- zone. I have found that using this product regularly has really helped with my dry patches and even helped with the oily areas too. My dry cheek areas have always been a problem, especially in the winter months. When the weather starts to change your skin changes too and this product is a life saver.

I remember the first time I used the skin peel it felt really strange. Once applied onto dry skin you just massage in for around 20 seconds or until the skin begins to peel off and forms clumps. It felt very strange as if that amount of skin shouldn't be coming off. But it is just the dead skin, pollution and impurities coming off that have settled onto your skin. Straight after my skin felt much softer and glowing. Once I had used it a couple of time I really started to notice a difference in my skin texture and look.

Recently I have started to add it into my usual facial routine but mainly use it when I feel necessary. You don't want to over use it as your skin will feel red and irritated. It is recommended 2-3 times a week but depending on your skin type it can be used less if needed. I have been using it around twice a week and then on the other four/ five days I just use a gentle facial scrub to keep the skin feeling fresh and healthy.
I have always believed that you should take care of your skin well. There's no point spending money on expensive skin care as it won't be affective if its only applied to the dry dead skin on top. You need to remove this to really help all the other products work properly.

Recently I have seen other skin peel products around that are a lot more expensive than this Body Shop skin peel. One 145ml bottle costs
£18.50 which is really good value for money and lasts a long time as you only need two small pumps to cover the whole face.
