I have been using this product on and off now for about 2 years. When I first started using it I fell in love and couldn't recommend it more. But once I had finished my bottle I decided to try some other new primers but have ended up coming back.
For the past few months I have been using it again and have completely fallen back in love. It seems to be the perfect primer for my skin type. My skin is usually combination, with slightly dryer areas on the cheeks and chin and an oily T- zone.
The Ordinary primer doesn't cling to any dry patches I might have and gets rid of any excess oils making a perfect base for the rest of my makeup. It also seems to reduce the appearance of any pores on my nose which I find show up much more at certain times of the year. It is a clear silicon based primer which appears a little tacky when in the bottle, but once applied to the skin it feels really soft and leaves a lightweight smooth surface for makeup application. When using a more full coverage foundation or even a light weight foundation like Mac face and body, it seems to blend out beautifully into the skin, making my skin look a lot more en.

I always powder my face after applying foundation and concealer when using any primers just to help it last all day, as my skin can get a little oily throughout the day. I have found that while using this primer it has really helped with my makeup lasting and not looking patchy in certain areas after a long day of wear.
I would recommend this product for all skin types, I would say that if your face was quite oily all over maybe it wouldn't be the best, but I feel it would still smooth out the skin nicely for the application of makeup. But if you have combination or dry skin I think this primer is great.

It comes in a 30ml bottle with a really handy pipet which allows you to dispense the perfect amount of product, I usually use around 1-2 drops for my whole face. I have found that you really don't need a lot of the product at once which means that the bottle lasts a lot longer. Its also a great added bonus that it smells really fresh and not chemically or perfumed at all.
It is available on most online skin care and makeup sites such as Beauty Bay, ASOS, Look Fantastic or The Ordinary website and store. Usually costing around £5.50 which is such a reasonable price for what you are getting and much cheaper than most makeup primers.
I will continue to love and use this primer and I would also really like to try out some more products from The Ordinary brand.
